Hi, our names are Alan and Eileen Piñeiro.

We launched The Beach Pad in 2015 when we purchased the original 1950s home, previously known as Casa Flores. Our family is originally from Rincón, and becoming part of the fabric of this magical jewel of a town has been a beautiful full-circle experience for us. 

The property has gone through various phases of renovation as we expanded it while striving to create an eco-conscious option for travelers. Today, the main house has been updated, and we added 4 studio loft apartments above it to serve individual guests or larger group property takeovers.

In an effort to be as sustainable as possible as well as anticipate the need for backup systems resulting from the island's fragile infrastructure we added a solar system, low-flow toilets, faucets, and showers, as well as a solar water heater, 2 backup water tanks, and a commercial-grade generator.

We live our lives by the motto "Choose Happiness" as is evident in many touches throughout The Beach Pad, including the beautiful mural you'll find on the rooftop deck.
